Fermanagh Autumn Walking Festival 2014

Walking enthusiasts are being encouraged to pull on their walking boots and explore the beauty and tranquility of some of Fermanagh’s finest landscapes as part of this year’s Fermanagh Autumn Walking Festival.

The annual Fermanagh Autumn Walking Festival organised by Fermanagh District Council in partnership with Fermanagh Ramblers and Hill Walkers Club, Cooneen/Coonian Ramblers and Knockatallon Ramblers, will be held at various locations throughout the County from Saturday 11 October to Monday 13 October 2014.

A wide range of walks is available to suit all ages and abilities.

On Saturday 11 October 2014 walks will be focused around the Cuilcagh area of County Fermanagh. There will also be a family walk within the Marble Arch Caves Nature Reserve.

On Sunday 12 October 2014 walks will take place around the Slieve Beagh/Jenkin Lakes area.

On Monday 13 October 2014 the annual Inclusive walk will be held, at the Lough Erne Resort, for individuals with disabilities and their friends, carers and families.

Walks cost £5 per person on Saturday and Sunday whilst the family event and Inclusive walk are free.
